Bernese Mountain Dogs “LAKE OF TENNO”
Since 1987
Our history with the Bernese Mountain dogs began in 1987, when we decided to a secluded life in our property on the shores of the Lake of Tenno: a jewel located in a beautiful and intact nature, particularly in the winter months, where we could also managed to live with a great, respect inspiring and dark colored dog, a family friendly dog but also our guard of the house.
Thanks to our first dog, “Andi from the Imperial Castle” his majestic name, we fell in love to this amazing breed and gradually grew the desire to have a few litters. The adventure began when we managed to make Andi meet “Camilla Bel Colle”, a breed typical, rugged female dog with a friendly, amiable character, who has also transmitted to their offspring Brenta, Gaia, Jamila and Pepita from the Lake of Tenno.
Our dogs are foreign to the life in a dog box. The Bernese litters we proudly breed saw the light of day in our home and are in close contact with the family and the nature, growing in an atmosphere rich in incentives. The objective is to breed healthy dogs and their behavior in order to make them the best representatives of their race peculiarities and a good companion for the lives of their owners
We have decided to have only one, maximum 2 litters, in a year, in order to bring on our primary targets at best about what a dog should have: health, behavior and typicality.
